wow, so clean. the block has clearly been repainted, the head immaculately cleaned, all new bolts and other accessories. I don't know buy I have to assume sourcing all the new parts for this engine was a challenge.

Those things go for SO much money. Also: it makes me really angry every time I see a Hakosuka or Kenmeri Skyline with GTR badging and what is clearly an L-series engine.
Also, fun fact: The Fairlady Z 432 was so named because the S20 engine has 4 valves per cylinder, 3 twin barrel side draft carbs, and 2 over head cams.

Damn cool engines. I've been trying to find net power figures for them for ages though. Gross power is 160bhp which is excellent for an engine that age, but I'd like to see how it compares to, say, the 131bhp (net) Alfa Twincam.
